We read every commercial fire violation the City of Buffalo issued between July 16 and August 14, 2026. This is what the city is actually citing buildings for, and how much of it remains unresolved.
Four violations in the window were marked complied and one was closed. The remaining 46 were still active as of the pull. That is a 90% open rate on citations issued inside a single month, and every one of them is a legal obligation attached to a named address.

Five of the 42 cited addresses received more than one violation inside the same 30-day window.
One violation is a repair. Five violations at one address inside a month is a building with no current service vendor, and that is a materially different sales conversation. These five addresses are the ones worth a call first.
