How we are paid
Briggs Analytics is paid a referral fee by the buyer when a company we introduced signs an agreement with that buyer. Owners never pay us. The fee does not come out of the owner's payment. The buyers page lists what each buyer publishes it pays us.
Where we share a referral fee with an advisor who introduced a company, we say so on the advisors page.
Where the numbers come from
Every dollar figure on this site is a buyer's own published figure (a referral page, an estimator, published offer bands) or a published deal report, labelled with the buyer and checked on the date shown. They are ranges and examples. They are not offers or guarantees. Final amounts are set by the buyer and depend on data sources, volume, quality, access terms and due diligence.
The estimate tool produces a range from published buyer ranges and your answers. It is an estimate, not an offer, and it is not made by any buyer.
What we are not
We are not a buyer. We never receive, store, process or handle a company's records. We are not lawyers, accountants or tax advisors, and nothing on this site is legal, tax or financial advice. Talk to yours before signing anything.
Buyers are not named on this site
We describe buyers by type and quote their published figures without naming them. You are told which buyer before any introduction is made. The published figures and their sources are kept on file and available on request. We do not publish what any buyer pays us.
