Every late load your team fixed is written down somewhere

The loads that went fine are not the story. The ones that went wrong, and how your team fixed them, are. Tell us about your TMS and see how big your exception history is.

How this works

Four steps, about as many minutes.

  1. Tell us your loads per year and years on your TMS.
  2. Tell us what your team logs when something goes wrong.
  3. See the size of your exception history and a fit rating.
  4. Get the summary by email.

The value is in what went wrong

A load that picks up on time and delivers on time teaches nobody anything. A load where the truck broke down in Ohio, the receiver refused half the pallets and your team found a recovery carrier in forty minutes is a complete lesson in how logistics really works. Multiply that by every exception, every claim and every carrier message your team has handled for ten years and you have a history that almost nobody else has.

This check estimates how big that history is. It uses your loads per year, your years on the TMS, how often things go wrong and what your team writes down when they do.

What gets logged matters most

Exception codes alone are thin. Exception notes, delay reasons, claim files and the messages with carriers and customers are what make the record complete. The more of those you keep in your TMS or email, the higher the fit.

Your exception rate

The check starts at 8 percent of loads having some exception, which is a placeholder. Change it to your own number if you know it.

Questions about this tool.

Which TMS systems count?

Any of them, including McLeod, MercuryGate, Revenova, Turvo, Aljex, Tai and in-house systems. What matters is what gets logged and how many years you still have.

Do customer contracts matter here?

Yes. Some shipper contracts limit how you use their shipment records. Check your largest contracts with the rights checker.

What if our notes live in email?

That counts too, as long as you still have the email history and it can be matched to loads.

Does this look at my TMS?

No. It only uses your answers.
