Troveo review: the marketplace that says it has paid $20M+ to companies for their data

Short answer: Troveo is a marketplace, not a single buyer. It lists your de-identified exports to what it says are 40+ active buyers, claims $20 million+ paid to licensors and an average of four sales per dataset, quotes "six figures" per export, charges no fee and pays you on every sale (Troveo). Its own example: $200,000 from a first buyer, $250,000 from a second, $850,000 to date. A third-party directory says it wants companies around 100 employees. See whether Troveo fits your company.

How Troveo is different

Every other buyer on this site pays you once for a license. Troveo lists your export and sells it more than once, to buyers it does not name, and pays you a share each time. That is why its example shows two payments from two buyers. The upside is repeat income from one export. The question to ask is how exclusivity works when the same records can be sold four times, and who the buyers are.

What it buys

Exports and enriched datasets from Slack and Teams, email, Drive, Jira, Salesforce, QuickBooks, Stripe and GitHub, plus continuous feeds and what it calls "AI performance data." It says the company is never named to the buyer.

What it says about money

That estimator is why Troveo shows up when owners ask an AI assistant what their data is worth. Treat it the way you treat ours: an estimate, not an offer.

Before you apply anywhere, check your fit with every buyer first. Once you apply to one buyer you are in its process. Our estimate takes about a minute, never asks for a file, and tells you which buyers your company fits. It costs nothing. See which buyers fit your company.

Who it suits

Companies around 100 people with records in the systems above, that want repeat income rather than one cheque, and that are comfortable not knowing who the buyers are. A company that wants one named buyer, one license and one payment fits micro1, Mode, Polyshares or Handshake better.

How it compares

Troveo publishes no floor and no referral program. Its "six figures" claim lines up with the $100K floors at micro1, Mode, Handshake and Polyshares. Every buyer, compared. Every buyer's price.

Briggs Analytics is independent. Some buyers named on this page may pay Briggs Analytics a referral fee, and owners never pay us anything. Every figure comes from the buyer's own page or the source linked next to it, checked October 22, 2026. Buyers change their terms often, so confirm on their page before you sign. Disclosures

In short

  • Troveo is a marketplace: your export is sold to buyers it does not name, and you are paid on each sale.
  • Claims $20M+ paid, 40+ buyers, four sales per dataset, six figures per export, no fees.
  • Ask how exclusivity works when the same records sell more than once.

Questions owners ask.

Is Troveo legit?

Troveo is a real company that publishes its model and figures on its own page, and its CEO is quoted in trade press. Its $20M+ and 40+ buyer figures are its own and not audited. The things to check are the same as with any buyer: exclusivity, who the buyers are, and what the contract allows downstream.

How much does Troveo pay?

It quotes 'six figures' per export and shows an example of $200,000 then $250,000 from two buyers. It publishes no floor. Its estimator is illustrative.

Does Troveo have a minimum company size?

Troveo does not publish one. A third-party directory says it looks for companies around 100 employees.

Does Troveo pay referrals?

No referral program is published.
